Operations Manager-King’s Coralville

How long have you worked at King's?
It will be six years in January

What are your primary responsibilities day-to-day?
I oversee the day-to-day operations of our Coralville location. I work with customers that come through the door, try to make sure the yard runs as smoothly as it can, keep on top of inventory, and help our team make sure customers are being taken care of.

What’s your favorite part about working at King’s?
I love helping customers find the right products for their projects, anything from a new outdoor living space to the stone or brick on their new build. I also love seeing our contractor customers grow their businesses and being a resource for them as they tackle new projects.

What’s one of the most memorable projects you’ve worked on while at King’s?
The entire Iowa River Landing area has been incredible to see grow over the last several years. It’s been a great combination of both the landscaping and masonry sides of our business, and it has allowed us to work with many different contractors. One other favorite is a huge Redi Rock retaining wall at the new Marriott Hotel right by Kinnick Stadium-the speed and efficiency of install for a wall that tall was amazing to see.
